The City of Hudson has an online portal through which you can choose to pay your bill or just view your bill and live balance. There are fees associated with using the online portal (see below for more information), or you can view the “How to Pay Your Bill with No Online Fees” section below to learn how to pay without fees.
Are ya tired of scrambling to pay your Hudson water bill at the last minute? I feel your pain! As someone who’s forgotten that pesky due date more times than I’d like to admit, I’ve finally figured out all the different ways to handle your Hudson Water Supply Corporation payments. Let me walk you through the options that’ll save you time, late fees, and headaches.
Why Bill Payment Matters for Hudson Water Customers
Water is kinda important, right? We all need it, and the folks at Hudson Water Supply Corporation work hard to provide “clean, safe water for all residents.” But keeping that water flowing means paying your bill on time.
Bills are due on the 10th of each month, and missing that deadline means dealing with late fees—something none of us want! Good news is that Hudson offers tons of convenient ways to pay, so you can choose what works best for your lifestyle
Online Bill Pay: The Modern Solution
In today’s digital world, online payment is probably the easiest option for most of us Hudson Water Supply Corporation has embraced technology to make your life easier.
How to Pay Your Hudson Water Bill Online:
- Visit the Hudson Water Supply website
- Click the bright red “Pay Your Bill Now” button
- Have your account number ready
- Know the current amount due
- Choose your credit or debit card (they accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express)
There is a 3% fee for this convenience but honestly the time saved might be worth it for many of us. Plus, the system uses secure SSL encryption to protect your personal info, so you don’t have to worry about security issues.
Phone Payment Option: For When You’re On The Go
Sometimes you’re just too busy to sit down at a computer. No worries! Hudson Water Supply makes it easy to pay by phone too.
Simply call their toll-free number at (877) 298-7608 to make your payment. The same 3% fee applies here, but it’s super convenient when you’re rushing between errands or remembering at the last minute that your bill is due tomorrow!
Just make sure you double-check your account number when paying this way. Hudson Water Supply isn’t responsible for payments made to incorrect accounts or late fees that happen because of mistakes.
The Traditional Route: Payment By Mail
Some of us still prefer the good ol’ paper check method, and that’s totally fine! If you’re sending your payment by mail, here’s what you need to know:
- Include your payment coupon with your check or money order
- Mail to: Hudson Water Supply Corporation, 3032 Ted Trout Dr., Lufkin, TX 75904
- Allow 5-7 business days for delivery before the due date
This option has no additional fees, which is great, but you do need to plan ahead to avoid those late charges!
Automatic Bank Draft: Set It And Forget It
This is my personal favorite option because I’m kinda forgetful sometimes. With automatic bank draft:
- Your monthly bill amount is automatically deducted from your bank account
- No setup fees or charges for this service
- No more worrying about due dates!
To get started with automatic payments, you’ll need to download and fill out the ACH Recurring Debit Form from the Forms & Reports section of their website. Then just drop it off at their office with a voided check, and you’re all set!
In-Person Payment: The Traditional Approach
For those who prefer the personal touch or like to pay with cash, you can always visit the Hudson Water Supply office in person.
Address: 3032 Ted Trout Dr., Lufkin, TX 75904
They accept cash, checks, or money orders at the office. Just keep in mind that Mondays, Fridays, and the day after a holiday tend to be really busy, so you might have to wait a bit longer on those days.
There’s also a night payment box for after-hours drop-offs. This is super useful if the 10th falls on a weekend – just make sure your payment is in the box before 8 a.m. on Monday morning to avoid late fees!
Bank Online Bill Pay Services: The Indirect Approach
Many banks and credit unions offer their own online bill payment services. This option lets you pay directly through your bank’s website, which can be convenient if you already handle other bills this way.
A few things to keep in mind with this method:
- Payments may take up to 7 business days to post to your account
- Your bank might charge its own fee for this service
- You’ll need to set up Hudson Water Supply as a payee in your bank’s system
Security and Privacy: Your Information is Safe
I’m always concerned about sharing my payment info online, so it’s good to know that Hudson Water Supply takes security seriously. They use industry-standard SSL technology to encrypt all your personal information, including credit card details, so it can’t be intercepted over the internet.
They also promise not to sell your information to anyone, which is reassuring in today’s data-hungry world.
What Happens If You Overpay?
Made a mistake and paid too much? Don’t worry! Hudson Water Supply will refund any overpayment as a credit to the credit card you used for the transaction. Simple and straightforward.
Planning Around Due Dates
Remember that magical date – the 10th of each month! That’s when your payment is due. Here are some strategies to never miss it:
- Set a recurring reminder on your phone for the 5th of each month
- Use automatic bank draft to eliminate the worry entirely
- If paying by mail, send your payment at least a week before the due date
- For weekend due dates, remember the 8 a.m. Monday cutoff for the night drop box

My Personal Experience with Hudson Water Bill Pay
When I first moved to the area, I was a bit overwhelmed by all the new utilities I had to set up. I started out paying my Hudson water bill in person, but quickly realized I was forgetting every month until the last minute. After racing to the office one too many times before closing, I switched to automatic bank draft.
It was super easy to set up, and now I never think about it! My bill gets paid automatically each month, and I just glance at the statement when it comes in to keep an eye on my water usage. For me, this “set it and forget it” approach has been a lifesaver.
Final Thoughts: Which Method Should You Choose?
So what’s the best way to pay your Hudson Water Supply bill? Well, that totally depends on your personal preferences:
- If you’re tech-savvy and don’t mind the 3% fee, online or phone payment gives you ultimate flexibility
- If you’re organized and plan ahead, mailing your payment saves you the extra fee
- If you’re forgetful like me, automatic bank draft is definitely the way to go
- If you prefer using cash or want to ask questions in person, visiting the office works great
Whatever method you choose, the most important thing is making sure your payment reaches Hudson Water Supply Corporation by that all-important 10th of the month deadline!
