The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) offers multiple convenient ways to pay your water sewer and power bills. Here are all your payment options
Online Payment Options

SFPUC BillPay/MyAccount: Sign up at MyAccount to view and pay your bills online. The system accepts multiple payment methods and allows you to track your water usage.

One-Time Payment Make a single payment without registering by clicking the “One-Time Payment” button on the MyAccount page

SF Water EZ-Pay: Make one-time payments using credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), debit cards, eCheck, or eCash. Note that credit/debit card payments have a $1,000 limit within a 30-day period.

Automatic Payment: Sign up for recurring automatic payments through directpaymentplan.com or by calling (415) 551-3000.

Your Bank’s Bill Pay: Use your own financial institution’s bill payment service.

Third-Party Services: Payment services like Checkfree can be used to pay your bill.

Send the bottom portion of your bill with a check or money order (no cash) to:

Important Payment Information
- Bills are due within 15 days of the bill date
- Late payments incur a penalty fee
- The SFPUC now accepts American Express for online and phone payments
