If you prefer not to create an account, you can make a one-time payment by clicking the “Pay Now” button. For this method, you’ll need
- Your WEB-ID number
- The first 3 letters of your last name
- Your payment method (credit/debit card or electronic check)
It’s super quick and you’ll get an email receipt sent directly to you. Just remember that payments process the next business day, and any payments made after midnight on the due date will be considered late and subject to penalties.
Creating an Account
For a more streamlined experience, I recommend creating an account on the payment portal. Here’s what you need:
- Visit https://kasson.billingdoc.net/login
- Click “Create An Account”
- Enter your email and create a password
- Follow the prompts to set up your account
Once your account is established, you can:
- View your billing history
- Schedule payments in advance
- Set up recurring payments
- Access past receipts
Auto Pay: Never Miss a Payment Again!
This has been a game-changer for me! Auto Pay allows the city to automatically deduct your monthly payment from your bank account on the 15th of each month. If the 15th falls on a weekend or holiday, the payment processes on the next business day.
There are two ways to set up Auto Pay:
Option 1: Traditional City Hall Auto Pay
- Download and print the application form from the city website
- Complete the form
- Bring it to City Hall by the 10th of the month you want to start
- Your payments will be automatically processed each month
Option 2: Online Portal Auto Pay
- Log in to your account at https://kasson.billingdoc.net/login
- Register for Auto Pay through the portal
- Follow the prompts to link your bank account
Important warning: These are TWO SEPARATE SYSTEMS! If you’ve already set up Auto Pay with City Hall and then also set it up on the web portal, your payment might be pulled TWICE! Choose one system or the other, not both. I learned this the hard way when my account was double-charged last summer.
