- Check your detailed energy usage (down to every 15 minutes!)
- Receive alerts when your bill is ready

To sign in for the first time:
- You’ll need your PMLP Account Number (found on your bill)
- The telephone number associated with your account
- If your account number is 12345-001, you can enter either 12345 or 12345001
- After your initial login, you can create your own User ID
Payment methods accepted
- Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover) – maximum payment of $2,100
- E-Check (through checking or savings) – maximum payment of $9,999.99
2. Quick Pay (No Login Required!)
Don’t want to create an account or login? No problem! PMLP now offers a Quick Pay feature that lets you make a payment without logging in. Just visit the Quick Pay page at https://cityofpeabodyma.municipalonlinepayments.com/cityofpeabodyma/utilities/quickpay.
To use Quick Pay:
- Enter your Account Number
- Click “Find Bill”
- Follow the prompts to complete your payment
3. PMLP Mobile App
For on-the-go payments, download the PMLP app from the App Store or Google Play This gives you all the functionality of the customer portal right on your smartphone

Important Fees and Information to Know
When using PMLP’s payment services, there are a few things to keep in mind:
Payment Fees
- There are additional fees for payments made through the Online Customer Account Portal
- PMLP may charge a $30 fee to your account if a payment is returned due to insufficient funds
- For Quick Pay with a credit card, there’s a minimum fee of $2.50 or 3.25% (whichever is greater)
System Availability
- Daily system maintenance occurs from 11:45 PM until 12:15 AM
- Payments cannot be processed during this maintenance window

One of my favorite features is the Auto-Pay option. I never have to worry about forgetting a payment again! Here’s how to set it up:
- Log in to your PMLP Customer Portal account
- Click on the “Payments” tab at the top
- Select “Auto Payments”
- Follow the prompts to set up your preferred payment method
- Choose your payment schedule preferences
Auto-Pay ensures your bill is paid automatically on the due date using your preferred payment method. You can still receive bill notifications to keep track of your usage and amounts.
Managing Your PMLP Account Online
Beyond just paying bills, the PMLP Customer Portal offers several useful account management features:

View Your Bill History
Get a concise summary of each of your bills and link to PDFs of your available bills. If the PDF of your bill is not available, youll see a nice message letting you know to check back later.
Once youve logged in and selected an account, select the Payment icon to initiate a payment for a single account or for multiple accounts, if applicable.
The Payment History icon connects you to a list of your past payments by month, including the date and amount of each payment.
The Alerts option allows you to manage the Alerts and Reminders you want to receive on your mobile device. Alerts and Reminders can be configured for each individual account and on each individual mobile device.
View & Report Outages
Quickly report an outage directly from your mobile device! When you select this option, if we already know about the outage that affects your account, youll see the outage report right away. If we dont know about the outage, youll automatically get the Report Outage form.
From the login screen, you have the ability to view our office and payment locations along with phone numbers, addresses, and hours of operation.

Does PMLP charge a fee if a payment is returned?
