BURNABY, B.C. — TIO Networks Corp. said it will launch a new bill payment program that allows Alltel Wireless customers to pay their bills with cash at TIOs self-service paystations in convenience stores across 22 states.
Commencing this fall, Alltel customers will be able to make time-sensitive bill payments 24 hours a day by inserting cash through bill acceptors at TIO touchscreen terminals located in their neighborhood c-stores. Alltel customers can navigate through bill pay and other TIO applications in either English or Spanish and complete financial [-nocss] transactions by either printing or emailing receipts to an email address of their choice. Users pay a $3 convenience fee per transaction.
Little Rock, Ark.-based Alltel is owner and operator of a major wireless network and claims more than 11 million wireless customers.
TIO Networks, Burnaby, B.C., is building a national multi-retailer network of financial services kiosks for the cash-preferred consumer marketplace in North America, with more than 900 locations and several top-tier corporate-owned c-store chains participating.

Here’s how I do it:
- Visit my.alltel.com.au/auth/login
- Login with your account credentials
- Go to the billing section
- Choose your payment method
- Complete the payment
What I love about the online portal is that it’s available 24/7, so I can pay my bill at 2 AM if that’s when I remember!
2. Automatic Payments
This is my personal favorite! Set it up once, and never worry about bill payments again.
To set up autopay:
- Log into your Alltel account online
- Go to payment settings
- Enter your credit card or bank account info
- Select the automatic payment option
- Choose whether you want to pay the full balance or a fixed amount
I’ve been using autopay for about 2 years now and haven’t had a single late fee!
3. Pay By Phone
Sometimes technology fails us. When the website is down or you just prefer talking to a human, phone payments are super handy.
Call Alltel customer service, and follow the prompts to pay your bill. You’ll need:
- Your Alltel phone number or account number
- A credit/debit card
- A few minutes of your time
4. Mail-in Payments
Some of us still like to do things the old-fashioned way, and that’s OK! You can mail a check or money order to Alltel’s payment processing center.
Just make sure to:
- Include your account number on the check
- Allow 5-7 business days for processing
- Mail it well before the due date
5. In-Person Payments
If your nearby an Alltel store or authorized retailer, you can pay your bill in person. This is great if you:
- Prefer cash payments
- Want a receipt right away
