Important Note: If you were previously on AutoPay, your last statement from the old system (dated before 9/5) will be drafted from the old system. You’ll need to re-enroll in AutoPay through SmartHub, but don’t make a payment on the outstanding balance if it’s from your last statement.

SmartHub – The New Way to Pay
The SmartHub mobile app and web portal puts the power in your hands! It not only lets you pay bills but offers tools to help save time and money on your utility bills. To register, you’ll need your new account number found on your new statement (issued after 9/8/25).
Here’s how to get started with SmartHub:
- Register for SmartHub: Visit www.hged.com and click on “Register for SmartHub”
- Login to SmartHub: If you’ve already registered, simply login to manage your account
- Make a One-Time Payment: Don’t want to register? No problem! You can still make a one-time payment

If you prefer not to use SmartHub, Holyoke offers other ways to pay online:
- City of Holyoke Website: Visit holyoke.org/payments and click “Pay online now” to be redirected to their secure payment provider
- UniPay Gold: The city uses UniBank’s payment system where electronic checks are FREE! Credit cards, PayPal, and Venmo are also accepted (with service fees)
