Yard waste, white goods, and cardboard is accepted. Metal items are also accepted, but fees apply. The services are available to Stoneham Town trash customers only.
Recycling stickers are required for each vehicle using Stevens Street. A white goods/metal permit is required for appliances, metal, white goods, etc. Fees apply. A drivers license and vehicle registration is required (vehicle must be registered in Stoneham). Passenger cars, pickup trucks, and small utility trailers only are allowed.
If a vehicle is sold (new registration required) or windshield replaced, return current recycling sticker to the Department of Public Works and a new sticker will be issued or $30 will be charged for a new sticker. Recycling stickers and permits are available at the Department of Public Works, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
