What’s New with BCWSA Bill Payments?
BCWSA (Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority) recently launched a new and improved online bill pay service powered by InvoiceCloud This upgrade started November 14th and offers way more peace of mind with secure payment options. It’s a total game-changer for managing your utility bills!
The coolest part? You can now

- Set up AutoPay so you’ll never miss a payment again
- Get text notifications about your bill
- Pay by text when you’re on the go

Important heads-up for current AutoPay users: If you were already enrolled in AutoPay before the upgrade, you’ll need to re-register in the new payment portal to keep your automatic payments going. BCWSA is sending out notifications with instructions on how to do this.
Why Going Paperless with BCWSA Pay Online Makes Sense
I personally hate paper clutter around my house, and I bet you do too One of the best things about BCWSA’s online payment system is that it’s completely paperless. No more searching through stacks of mail to find your bill!
Their Pay Online service is:
- Secure
- Simple to use
- Saves trees (and counter space!)
- Ensures you never forget a payment
The process is super straightforward – just complete their online form once, and they handle the rest. You can have payments automatically debited from your checking or savings account.

What Happens If Your Account Becomes Past Due?
Nobody likes to think about this part, but it’s good to know. If your BCWSA account becomes past due, here’s what happens:
- After 30 days, you’ll face a 10% penalty on the overdue balance plus 10% interest compounded annually
- After 45 days, your account may be subject to a municipal lien and/or service termination
- Additional fees for shutoffs and lien filings will apply
If your service is marked for termination, BCWSA will post a 10-day notice at your location. At this point, you’ll need to either pay the balance in full or set up a payment agreement (typically 50% upfront and the remainder in 6 monthly installments).
The best way to avoid all this hassle is to sign up for Direct Debit or AutoPay through their online portal.
My Personal Experience with BCWSA Bill Pay
When I first moved to Bucks County, I was still in the habit of paying bills by check. I know, I know – totally old school! But after missing a payment and dealing with those annoying late fees, I decided to give their online payment system a try.
The setup took maybe 5 minutes, and I haven’t had to worry about my water bill since. The autopay feature has been a lifesaver, especially during busy months when I’m traveling for work. The peace of mind knowing my utilities are covered automatically is totally worth it.
