My Personal Experience
I’ve been using the City of Sherman’s online payment system for about 3 years now, and it’s made my life so much easier. Before, I was always forgetting to mail my payment or rushing to city hall on the last day. Now, I get an email notification when my bill is ready, log in to check my water usage (we had a leak last year that showed up as a spike in consumption!), and pay with just a few clicks.
The $1.25 convenience fee is totally worth it for me considering the gas and time I save by not driving downtown. Plus, being able to see my consumption history has actually helped our family become more water-conscious. We’ve reduced our usage by about 15% since I started monitoring our patterns online!
Final Thoughts
The City of Sherman has done a great job making it easier for residents to manage and pay their water bills online. Whether you choose the Quick Pay option or register for full account access, you’ll save time and hassle compared to traditional payment methods.
Just remember these key points:
- There’s a $1,000 maximum payment limit per billing cycle
- A $1.25 convenience fee applies to each transaction
- Service requests take at least 3 business days to process
- If your service is disconnected, you must call to restore it
