Who is Grand Strand Water and Sewer Authority?

GSWSA is the primary water provider for approximately 322,342 residents living in Conway City and throughout Horry County Established in 1970, they collect water from the Great Pee Dee watershed, which is a fresh surface water source with water originating from North Carolina. Their water comes from multiple sources including Lake Tillery, Blewett Falls Lake, Lumber River, and several others

I’ve been a GSWSA customer for years, and their water quality is excellent. In fact, they received the best-possible grade in their 2020 Lead Report because the amounts of contaminants found in the water supply were better than the Public Health Goal and most other water providers analyzed.
