So, you’re looking to pay your iFiber bill and wanna know all the options? Look I’ve been there – nothing’s more annoying than trying to figure out how to pay your internet bill when your internet might be on the verge of being cut off! As a longtime LocalTel/iFiber customer myself I thought I’d put together this comprehensive guide about iFiber bill pay to make life easier for fellow customers.
What is iFiber?
Before diving into payment options, let’s clarify what iFiber actually is iFiber is the fiber internet service offered by LocalTel Communications, which now operates as a Ziply Fiber company. They provide high-speed fiber internet services primarily in Chelan, Douglas, and Grant Counties in Washington State
LocalTel proudly advertises themselves as having the “Fastest Fiber Internet in Washington State” and I gotta say, from my experience they ain’t lying!
How to Access Your iFiber Bill Pay Portal
The main way to pay your iFiber bill is through the MyLocalTel customer portal. Here’s how you can access it:
- Visit the official website at https://my.localtel.com/
- Look for the “Log In” section on the right side of the homepage
- Enter your email address, password, and PIN number (which can be found at the top of your statement)
- Click “Login” to access your account
If you don’t have an account yet, no worries! You can create one by clicking the “create account” link below the login form.
iFiber Bill Pay Methods
Now for the part you’re actually here for – how to pay your dang bill! LocalTel/iFiber offers several convenient payment methods:
Online Payment through MyLocalTel
This is probably the easiest way to pay your bill. After logging into your account at https://my.localtel.com/, you can:
- View your current balance
- See payment history
- Set up automatic payments
- Make one-time payments using credit/debit cards
The online portal is available 24/7, so you can pay your bill whenever it’s most convenient for you. Even at 3 AM when you suddenly remember that bill you forgot to pay!
Phone Payment
If you prefer talking to a real human (I get it, sometimes websites can be confusing), you can call LocalTel’s billing support:
- Main Phone: 509-888-8888
- Toll-Free: 800-992-2112
Their office hours are Monday through Friday from 8am to 5:30pm. The representatives are super helpful and can process your payment right over the phone.
In-Person Payment
If you’re old school like my dad and prefer to pay in person, you can visit their office at:
LocalTel Communications
341 Grant Road
East Wenatchee, WA
Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5:30pm.
Mail-In Payment
You can also send your payment by mail. Make sure to include your account number on your check and mail it to their address listed above.
Setting Up Automatic Payments
Let’s be real – remembering to pay bills every month is a pain in the butt. That’s why I personally use automatic payments for my iFiber service. Here’s how you can set it up:
- Log into your MyLocalTel account
- Look for the automatic payment or autopay option
- Enter your preferred payment method (credit card, debit card, or bank account)
- Choose your payment date
- Confirm and save your settings
With automatic payments, you’ll never have to worry about late fees or service interruptions again. It’s a huge weight off my mind each month!
What If You Forget Your Password?
We all forget passwords sometimes (I swear I create a new one every time I log in somewhere). If you forget your MyLocalTel password:
- Visit https://my.localtel.com/
- Click on “forgot password?” below the login form
- Follow the instructions to reset your password
You’ll likely need to provide your email address and some verification information to prove it’s really you.
Understanding Your iFiber Bill
Understanding your bill can help ensure you’re paying the correct amount. Here are some key elements of your iFiber bill:
- Account Number: This is your unique identifier for your iFiber account
- Statement Date: When your bill was generated
- Due Date: When your payment is due
- Current Charges: What you owe for the current billing cycle
- Past Due Amount: Any unpaid amount from previous billing cycles
- PIN Number: Located at the top of your statement, needed for account access
What If You Can’t Pay Your Bill?
Life happens. If you’re having trouble paying your iFiber bill on time, it’s best to contact LocalTel directly at 509-888-8888. In my experience, they’re pretty understanding and might be able to:
- Arrange a payment plan
- Adjust your due date
- Provide information about assistance programs
Speaking of assistance programs, LocalTel is a Lifeline Program provider, which offers discounts on service for qualifying low-income customers. For more information, visit https://www.lifelinesupport.org/ or call customer service at 509-888-8888.
Tips for Smooth iFiber Bill Payments
Here are some tips I’ve learned over the years that might help you with your iFiber bill payments:
- Set reminders: If you don’t use autopay, set calendar reminders a few days before your bill is due
- Keep your contact info updated: Make sure LocalTel has your current email and phone number for bill notifications
- Check for promotions: Sometimes LocalTel offers promotions that could lower your bill
- Bundle services: Consider bundling internet with other LocalTel services like TV, phone, or security for potential discounts
Recent Maintenance Notices That Might Affect Your Service
It’s worth noting some upcoming maintenance events that could temporarily affect your service. As of November 13, 2025, these are the scheduled maintenance events:
- Manson: November 17, 2025 (9:00AM – 3:00PM) – All services will be affected
- Chelan: November 19, 2025 (9:00AM – 3:00PM) – All services affected due to nearby electrical maintenance
- Douglas and Chelan Counties: November 25, 2025 (12:01AM – 6:00AM) – Internet and VoIP services will be affected for 15-30 minutes
If your service is down during these windows, don’t worry – it’s planned maintenance, not an issue with your account or bill payment status.
Who to Contact for Support
If you have any questions about your iFiber bill or need assistance with payment options, LocalTel offers excellent customer support:
- Internet Support: 509-888-5700 (available 7 days/week, 6am to midnight)
- Billing Support: 509-888-8888 (Monday-Friday, 8am to 5:30pm)
- Email: [email protected]
Why Choose iFiber by LocalTel?
While we’re on the topic of iFiber, I might as well mention why so many people in Washington choose this service:
- Fastest speeds in Washington State: LocalTel partners with Chelan County PUD to provide a fiber network that’s “the envy of the nation”
- Local company: They’re based right in East Wenatchee, not some faceless corporation from who-knows-where
- Award-winning support: Their support team consistently wins local recognition for customer service
- Consistent pricing: They don’t play games with promotional pricing that skyrockets after a few months
Final Thoughts
Paying your iFiber bill doesn’t have to be complicated. Whether you prefer the convenience of online payments, the personal touch of paying by phone or in person, or the peace of mind that comes with autopay, LocalTel offers multiple options to suit your needs.
