Are ya struggling to figure out how to pay your water bill in Inkster? Don’t worry I’ve been there too! When I first moved to Inkster Michigan, figuring out all the different payment options for my utility bills was pretty confusing. But after living here for a few years, I’ve learned all the ins and outs of the Inkster water billing system.
In this guide, I’ll share everything you need to know about paying your Inkster water bill – from online payments to in-person options and even those convenient self-service kiosks that have popped up around town.

The City of Inkster provides several convenient methods for residents to pay their water bills, Here are all the options available to you
1. Pay Online Through BS&A Online

How to pay online:

- Search for your account using one of these methods:
- Account Number (fastest method)
- Name (last name is preferred)

The BS&A system accepts credit cards, debit cards, and electronic checks. Just be aware that there is a convenience fee for using credit/debit cards that goes to the payment processor (not the City of Inkster).

Tips for Managing Your Inkster Water Payments
After paying my water bill in Inkster for years, I’ve picked up a few helpful tips:
-
Set up reminders – Water bills come every two months, so it’s easy to forget. I set a calendar reminder on my phone.
-
Keep track of your account number – Having this handy makes online payments much quicker.
-
Check for leaks – If your bill suddenly increases, you might have a leak. The city sometimes offers free leak detection services.
-
Consider automatic payments – While not explicitly mentioned on the city’s site, you might be able to set up automatic payments through your bank’s bill pay service.
-
Save your receipts – Especially if you pay by cash at a kiosk or in person. I keep mine in a folder just in case.
