Post date |

Are you tired of rushing to pay your Little Elm water bill at the last minute? Maybe you’ve received those annoying late notices or you’re simply looking for a more convenient way to manage your monthly utility payments. Well, you’re in luck! As someone who’s lived in Little Elm for years, I’ve tried every possible method to pay my water bill, and I’m gonna share everything I’ve learned.

Why Paying Your Little Elm Water Bill Matters

Before diving into payment methods, let’s talk about why timely payment matters. The Town of Little Elm provides essential water services to our community, and prompt payments ensure these services continue without interruption.

Nobody wants their water shut off, right? Plus, late payments can lead to additional fees and potential disconnection headaches that are simply not worth the trouble.

Online Payment Options: The Easiest Way to Pay

The Town of Little Elm offers several convenient online payment options that make paying your water bill super easy. Here’s how you can take advantage of them:

Quick Pay Option (No Login Required)

If you’re in a hurry or don’t want to create an account the Quick Pay option is perfect for you

  1. Visit the Little Elm Payments website
  2. Click on the “Quick pay” button
  3. Enter your account number (found on your water bill)
  4. Follow the prompts to complete your payment using a credit or debit card

This is my go-to method when I’m short on time but need to make sure my bill gets paid

Create an Account for Enhanced Features

If you prefer more control over your billing experience creating an account offers additional benefits

  1. Visit the Little Elm Payments website
  2. Click “Sign in or sign up”
  3. Follow the registration process to create your account

With an account, you’ll be able to:

  • View detailed billing history
  • Manage multiple accounts (great for landlords or those with multiple properties)
  • Set up e-Billing
  • Pay multiple bills at once
  • Track payment history

I personally prefer this method because it gives me a complete overview of my water usage and payment history.

Automatic Payment Options

Credit/Debit Card Automatic Draft

If you’re like me and sometimes forget your due dates, setting up automatic payments is a lifesaver:

  1. Visit the Town of Little Elm website
  2. Look for the “Set Up Credit/Debit Card Automatic Draft” option
  3. Complete the required forms to authorize automatic payments

Once set up, your bill will be automatically charged to your card each month, eliminating the risk of late or forgotten payments.

Phone Payments

Not comfortable with online payments? No worries! Little Elm offers an automated phone payment system:

  • Call 877-881-0114 to access the automated payment system
  • Have your account information and payment method ready
  • Follow the voice prompts to complete your payment

This is a great backup option if your internet is down or if you prefer speaking to an automated system rather than navigating a website.

In-Person and Mail Payment Options

While online and phone payments are convenient, some people still prefer traditional payment methods:

In-Person Payments

You can pay your water bill in person at:

  • Town of Little Elm
  • 100 W. Eldorado Parkway
  • Little Elm, TX 75068

Their office hours are Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Mail Payments

If you prefer to mail your payment:

  1. Include your account number on your check or money order
  2. Make payable to “Town of Little Elm”
  3. Mail to the Town of Little Elm address above

Just remember to allow sufficient time for mail delivery to avoid late payments!

What to Do if Your Account is Subject to Disconnection

If you’ve received a disconnection notice, don’t panic! Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Call the Utility Billing office immediately at 214-975-0480 during regular business hours
  2. Explain your situation to the representative
  3. Make a payment arrangement if necessary

Important note: Online payments may not prevent disconnection if your account has already been flagged. Direct contact with the billing office is essential in these situations.

Last year, I completely forgot about my bill while on vacation and came back to a disconnection notice. One call to the office and I was able to resolve the issue without losing water service.
