Track Your Usage to Save Money

One of the coolest things about the MyAccount portal is being able to see detailed information about your energy and water usage. This feature has actually helped me lower my monthly bills!

The system allows you to:

  • View detailed usage by day, week, or month
  • Compare your current usage to previous periods
  • Identify peak usage times
  • Find your most economical rate

By monitoring my usage patterns, I was able to adjust some of my habits and save about $25-30 per month on my utilities. That adds up to hundreds of dollars per year!

Receive Helpful Notifications and Alerts

The notification system in MyAccount is really useful. You can set up alerts for:

  • Bill due date reminders
  • Payment confirmations
  • Usage alerts (if your consumption suddenly increases)
  • Account changes

These alerts can be delivered by email or text message, depending on your preference. I have mine set to email, and it’s been super helpful in managing my account.

Security Features to Protect Your Information

Oconomowoc Utilities takes security seriously. Their MyAccount platform uses:

  • SSL encryption for data transmissions
  • Password protection for account access
  • Secure payment processing
