I’ve been there too, and today I’m gonna walk you through everything you need to know about paying your Piedmont Electric bill.
As a member of this cooperative, I’ve tried pretty much all the payment methods they offer, and I’m excited to share what I’ve learned to help make your bill paying experience hassle-free!
What is Piedmont Electric?
Before diving into payment options, let’s clarify that Piedmont Electric (officially Piedmont Electric Membership Corporation or PEMC) is an electric cooperative serving members in North Carolina. It’s not related to Piedmont Healthcare, which is a healthcare system.
As a cooperative, Piedmont Electric is owned by its members – that’s you and me! This means they’re focused on providing excellent service rather than making profits for shareholders.
