Are you tired of forgetting to pay your Woodfin water bill? Or maybe you’re new to the area and not sure how to handle this monthly necessity? I’ve been there! After moving to the Woodfin area last year, I struggled with figuring out the payment process too. That’s why I’ve put together this comprehensive guide to help you understand all the options available for paying your Woodfin water bill
What is Woodfin Water District?
Before diving into payment methods, let’s briefly talk about who we’re dealing with. The Woodfin Sanitary Water & Sewer District serves the Woodfin area near Asheville, North Carolina. They’re located at 122 Elkwood Avenue in Asheville, and can be reached at (828) 253-5551. The district handles water and sewer services for residents and businesses in the area.
Online Payment Options
The easiest and most convenient way to pay your Woodfin water bill is through their online payment system. Here’s how to do it:
Option 1: Register as a Regular User
- Visit the official Woodfin Water District website at https://www.woodfinwater.com/make-payment
- Look for the “pay now” button

- Once registered, you can log in anytime to make payments
This option is great if you plan to pay online regularly. By registering you’ll have access to your account history and won’t need to enter your information each time.
Option 2: One-Time Payment with Your Account Number
If you don’t want to register but still want to pay online
- Find your latest water bill
- Locate your account number (it’s a 6-digit number, followed by a dash and three additional numbers)
- Visit https://www.woodfinwater.com/make-payment
- Click the “pay now” button
- Enter your account number exactly as shown (e.g., 012345-000)

Remember: You must enter the account number exactly as it appears on your bill, including the dash and trailing zeros!
Phone Payment Option
Not comfortable with online payments? No problem! Woodfin Water District offers a phone payment option too:

Important Note About “Woodfin – Your Home Team”
While researching, I noticed there’s another company called “Woodfin – Your Home Team” with a similar payment portal at https://askwoodfin.myfuelportal.com/. This is NOT the same as Woodfin Water District!
“Woodfin – Your Home Team” appears to be a different company based in Virginia (phone number 804-730-5000) that likely provides fuel or home services. Don’t confuse the two when making your water bill payments!
