If you are paying your water bill after 4:30 on the LAST Business day before shut off, you will need to add the $40 to your bill to avoid your water being shut off.  If you do not pay the entire amount + the $40 fee your water will be shut off.

In Person

Feel free to use the drive up windon on the West side of the City Hall building, to pay with cash, check, or money order. Our hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 4:30 pm.

From our Residents page, choose payment options, and click the green “Pay Your Bill Now” button. The City of Georgetown offers online bill pay through a service called Allpaid. Credit, debit, and prepaid cards are accepted. Allpaid charges a convenience fee based on the amount of your bill. They also offer the convenience of calling in your payment to 1-888-604-7888. The convenience fee is substantially higher than paying online. CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS ARE FOR WATER BILLS ONLY.

Payment By Mail

If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at leave five to seven business days before the due date.

You may use our drop box on the West side of City Hall near the drive-up window, 24/7. The box is secure with payments coming right inside the building. If paying with cash, please use and envelope and write your name, address, and amount on the outside.

Many financial institutions offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your banks website). Normally, these services debit the customers checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service.
