Ways to Pay Bills Through Achieva
Achieva Credit Union offers several convenient methods to handle your bill payments
1. Using Achieva Online Banking
This is probably the most comprehensive way to manage all your bill payments in one place. Here’s how to set it up:

- Select your desired account and choose the payee from the dropdown list

2. Using the Achieva Mobile App
For those of us always on the go (that’s me!), the mobile app is a lifesaver. The Achieva Credit Union mobile app has a 2.8-star rating in the App Store, and while it may have some bugs occasionally, the bill pay feature works pretty well. Here’s how to use it:

I’ve run into a few hiccups over the years, so let me share some solutions:
App Crashes During Bill Pay
Based on user reviews, the Achieva mobile app occasionally has some bugs. If you experience crashes during bill pay:
- Close the app completely and restart it
- Try using the web browser version instead
- Make sure your app is updated to the latest version (currently 4018.1.1 as of September 28)
- If problems persist, contact member services
Bill Payee Not Found
If you can’t find your bill payee in the system:
- Double-check the spelling
- Remember that credit cards may be listed under their parent company names (Visa, Mastercard, etc.)
- Contact Achieva directly if you still can’t find the payee

Remember that timing matters:
- Payments before noon post the next business day

What Users Are Saying
The Achieva Credit Union app has a 2.8 out of 5 rating based on 175 reviews. While users praise the credit union’s customer service, some mention technical issues with the app:
“Great bank, buggy app,” writes one reviewer. “I personally love banking with Achieva. Every time I call in for some kind of help, I am treated with excellent care and customer service. However, the app underperforms and can be frustrating to use.”
Another reviewer mentioned bill pay bugs specifically: “When using bill pay after a time the page will say ‘Oops something went wrong.'” They found that using Safari instead of the app worked better for bill pay functions.
Final Thoughts on Achieva Online Bill Pay
Overall, Achieva’s online bill pay options give you tons of flexibility for managing your payments. While the mobile app might have some quirks (don’t we all?), the online banking system is robust and reliable.
I’ve found that once you get past the initial setup of adding your payees, the whole process becomes super simple and actually kinda enjoyable. There’s something satisfying about knocking out all your bills in one sitting without licking a single envelope!
For anyone hesitant about switching to online bill pay, I’d say give it a shot with just one or two recurring bills to start. Once you see how convenient it is, you’ll likely want to move all your payments to the system.
